I have learnt English as a first language since I entered formal education, in Primary 1. Since then, I have been intrigued by the written and spoken language, the etymology of words and its nuances.
In university, I majored in English (literature) and have obtained an Honours degree in the subject. After entering working life – in the private, public and people sectors – I have gained experience in the use of the language in various business settings. My studies and work have taken me to New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
